Nordic Nano Group designs and manufactures advanced solar energy harvesting and energy storage solutions using innovative nanomaterials and precision screen-printing technologies. These sustainable products are lightweight, durable, fire-safe, moldable, effective in low-light conditions, and free of rare earth metals.

Role Overview:
The Laboratory Lead – Senior Chemist will manage laboratory and pre-production operations in a new clean-energy manufacturing facility. The position involves implementing and optimizing nanomaterial and screen-printing processes, overseeing R&D activities, and ensuring high-quality output during the ramp-up toward full production.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead daily laboratory operations and support pre-production ramp-up.
  • Install, test, and refine nanomaterial screen-printing systems.
  • Plan and manage R&D projects and pilot-scale trials.
  • Implement quality control protocols to ensure product reliability.
  • Collaborate with production, engineering, and cross-functional teams to meet deadlines.
  • Provide technical expertise on nanomaterials and screen-printing processes.
  • Troubleshoot production challenges and propose innovative solutions.
  • Document workflows, monitor lab performance, and drive continuous improvement.

Qualifications:

  • Degree in chemistry, materials science, chemical engineering, nanotechnology, or related field.
  • 3–5 years’ experience in laboratory, manufacturing, or process development environments.
  • Understanding of cost-effective manufacturing and quality standards.
  • Proven project management and multitasking skills.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
  • Fluent in English; proficiency in Finnish or German is an asset.

Preferred Skills:

  • Deep understanding of nanomaterials, especially carbon nanotube (CNT) technologies, their properties, and processing in screen-printing applications.
  • Academic credentials in materials science, chemistry, chemical engineering, nanotechnology, or related fields.
  • Proven experience in lab and pre-production environments within nanomaterials or screen-printing industries.
  • Demonstrated leadership or mentoring experience in lab or technical teams.

The Position

You are a strategic and enthusiastic access and health economic professional who ensures access for innovations in Finland. Your main responsibility is to design and implement Roche’s market access strategies and submissions for pricing and reimbursement and hospital access processes. You will work across Disease Area Teams to ensure strong and holistic strategic planning, building and implementation of market access strategies for new and existing assigned Roche products. Roche engages with different stakeholders in a transparent and collaborative way, advocating changes that make the Finnish healthcare system more sustainable for Finnish patients. 

The Opportunity

  • You take ownership of strategic planning and implementation of compelling value stories for both new and existing Roche products in retail and hospital settings.
  • You lead HTA strategy and manage access submissions for your assigned products, ensuring timely and impactful outcomes.
  • You design and execute RWD collection, health outcomes, and health economic studies that strengthen access strategies and support reimbursement submissions.
  • You develop and adapt tools and materials such as budget impact models, value-based healthcare solutions, and tailored presentations.
  • You play an active role in local cross-functional disease area teams and collaborate closely with access colleagues across the broader network.
  • You act as a market access expert in public policy initiatives and engage meaningfully with external stakeholders to shape the access environment.

Who You Are

  • You bring over 5 years of experience in market access and health economics, backed by relevant academic training and a strong understanding of the pharma industry.
  • You have deep knowledge of the Finnish healthcare system across both outpatient and hospital sectors, and you stay ahead by recognizing opportunities from various real-world data (RWD) sources.
