Haemme Itä-Suomen Genomikeskukseen laboratoriotyön osaajaa. Tehtävä sijoittuu Kuopion kampukselle ja se täytetään toistaiseksi 1.9.2024 alkaen (tai sopimuksen mukaan). Lue lisää alta, ja hae viimeistään 5.8.2024.
Tehtävä ja palkkaus
Tässä tehtävässä työskentelet Kuopion kampuksella, lääketieteen laitoksen kliinisen lääketieteen yksikössä, Itä-Suomen Genomikeskuksessa (ISGK). Laitos kuuluu terveystieteiden tiedekuntaan. ISGK on perustettu vuonna 2008 tukemaan ihmisten terveyteen ja sairauksiin liittyvää geenitutkimusta. Sen päätehtävä on tarjota edistyneitä geeni- ja genomitutkimuksen palveluita paikallisille tutkimusyhteisöille ja alueen yrityksille sekä hyvinvointialueille.
Tässä tehtävässä osallistut monipuolisesti ISGK:n diagnostiseen ja muuhun palvelutoimintaan akkreditoidussa laboratoriossa ja tarvittaessa on mahdollisuus osallistua tutkimustyöhön. (Geenidiagnostiikkalaboratorio on FINAS-akkreditointipalvelun akkreditoima testauslaboratorio T321, akkreditointivaatimus SFS-EN ISO 15189:2013). Työ sisältää myös kehitystehtäviä. Tehtävänimikkeesi riippuu koulutustaustastasi ja työkokemuksestasi (mahdollisia nimikkeitä ovat mm. laborantti, tutkimusteknikko tai bioanalyytikko). Tehtävän pääasiallinen työkieli on suomi.
Keskeisiä työtehtäviäsi ovat muun muassa:
- DNA:n eristäminen erilaisista lähtömateriaaleista (esim. FFPE-kudosleike, verinäyte, ympäristönäytteet),
- diagnostisten geenianalyysien tekeminen potilasnäytteistä molekyylibiologian menetelmillä, sisältäen laadunvarmistuksen (esim. NGS, TaqMan, Sanger, MLPA),
- tutkittavien näytteiden varastoinnin hallinta, mukaan lukien näytteiden vastaanotto ja postitus,
- laatustandardin mukainen työn dokumentointi,
- laboratorion ylläpitoon liittyvät tehtävät sisältäen mm. vastuun käyttötavaran, reagenssien ja kemikaalien sekä laitteiden ylläpidosta,
- laboratorion laatutyöhön osallistuminen.
Tehtävä täytetään 1.9.2024 alkaen (tai sopimuksen mukaan) toistaiseksi. Uuden työntekijän tullessa tehtävään käytetään 6 kk:n koeaikaa.
Tehtävän palkkaus määräytyy yliopistojen palkkausjärjestelmän (muu asiantuntija- ja tukihenkilöstö) mukaisesti. Palkka koostuu tehtäväkohtaisesta palkanosasta ja henkilökohtaiseen suoriutumiseen perustuvasta palkanosasta. Tässä tehtävässä tehtäväkohtainen palkanosa on vaativuustasoluokittelussa tasoilla 6-7. Lisäksi maksetaan henkilökohtaiseen suoriutumiseen perustuvaa palkanosaa, joka on 6 – 50 % tehtäväkohtaisesta palkanosasta. Vaativuustasosta ja henkilökohtaisesta palkanosasta riippuen palkka työsuhteen alkaessa on noin 2 634-2 964 €/kk.

- tehtävän alaan soveltuvaa koulutusta kuten ammatillista perustutkintoa tai ammattikorkeakoulututkintoa,
- hyvää suomen kielen kirjallista ja suullista taitoa,

Research description
The goal is to use mechanistic and data-driven computational models to design optimized microbial community inocula for plant-based kefir and cheese fermentations.
Research is carried out at our excellent facilities at Aalto University, School of Chemical Engineering (http://www.bioeconomyinfra.fi/). The laboratories are situated on the main campus of Aalto University in Otaniemi (short metro-ride from Helsinki) within the department of Bioproducts and Biosystems.

Postdoctoral researcher to the Biomolecular Materials group
Are you interested in research in biosynthetic materials? The Biomolecular Materials group at Aalto University is looking for a postdoctoral researcher. We use protein engineering and recombinant protein production to develop new concepts for new materials based on spider silk, mussel adhesives, and barnacle cement proteins. With such novel materials we aim to provide sustainable alternatives to petrochemically produced ones. A key focus in our research are the molecular assembly pathways in which proteins from dilute solutions come together by self-assembly to form functional materials.

Tehtävä sijoittuu Myyntiluvat vastuualueen Kliinis-farmakologiseen yksikköön. Yksikkö vastaa lääkkeiden tehon, turvallisuuden ja laadun arvioinnista sekä myyntilupahakemusten käsittelystä omalla vastuualueellaan.
Tutkijakoordinaattorin tehtäviin kuuluu esimerkiksi soveltuvin osin arviointilausuntojen kirjoitus (Kliinisten tyyppi IB muutoshakemukset ja geneeristen valmisteiden 10(1) -tyypin hakemukset), uudistamishakemusten kliinisen dokumentaation arviointi, biosimilaarien ja geneeristen lääkevalmisteiden tuoteinformaatioiden arviointi sekä tuoteinformaation käännösten tarkastaminen.

Haemme uutta työkaveria Analytical technician -tehtävään mikrobiologiseen laadunvalvontalaboratorioomme.
Analytical technician tehtävässä vastaat laboratorion tehtävistä kuten esimerkiksi steriiliystestaamisesta ja ympäristökontrollinäytteiden otosta ja analysoinnista. Steriiliystestaaminen tehdään suodattamalla ja suorasiirrostamalla esimerkiksi lääkeaineesta ja solupankeista. Työskentely tapahtuu aseptisesti puhdastiloissa.
Tulet työskentelemään myös muissa mikrobiologisen laadunvalvontalaboratorion tehtävissä. Työtehtäviisi voi kuulua esimerkiksi
– Kokonaismikrobimääritys suodattamalla ja maljavalumenetelmällä
– Ympäristökontrollinäytteiden otto
– Mikrobimaljojen tulosten lukeminen kasvatuksen jälkeen
– Endotoksiinien analysointi

Your Role:

- Diagnoses and resolves product performance problems of customer inquiries by telephone, e-mail, or other remote support tools.
- Ensures customer satisfaction by advising customers on preventive maintenance and configurations, which may impact product performance.
- Active co-operation with colleagues from service, sales, and support in the national and international environment
- Prepare the service assignments for our field teams (defining the required repair parts and creating repair recommendations for our customer support engineers)
- Registration and documentation of the provided support services in the SAP CRM system

Your Profile:
- A bachelor degree, Master degree, or equivalent in the field of chemistry, instrumental analysis, biology, food chemistry or a related field.
- Have user experience in instrument data analysis software, problem-solving skills, particularly for fixing, applications support, and/or general instrument maintenances.
Apart from these more technical skills, we are also looking for:
- A strong drive to learn and expand your skills, enjoy working remotely.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in Finnish and English is essential, the ability to coordinate and prioritize efficiently.
- A good knowledge of Swedish is a plus.

We are looking for a Technical Sales Specialist (TSS) to grow our Food Protection business across the Nordics. Quality Control team is responsible for in-process and release testing of the manufactured batches in order to prove they are acceptable for patient use. In Quality Control by analysing our products, you will ensure their quality and the patient safety. If you enjoy a work that requires accuracy and systematic grip, you might be the one we are looking for.
Your main responsibility is to conduct in-house testing analytics in our Quality Control labs including sampling, running the assays and finally reporting the results. In addition, you will be responsible to update related QC documentation and participate in investigations according GMP regulations.
In order to succeed, you will need to have a degree in Laboratory Technology or Bioanalyst (laboratory assistant or comparable) and have a good command of English (oral and written). For example, you may have a background as a laboratory assistant, bioanalyst, process worker, or equipment maintainer. We have four teams in production and we are seeking new reinforcements as our operations grow rapidly. In the Buffer team, we prepare all the solutions we use in production, in the Upstream team, we start the production process with cell culture and continue by growing the cells in the bioreactors. During the process, the cells are infected and eventually harvested. From Upstream, the product is transferred to the Downstream team, which in turn purifies the product using chromatographic methods so that the product is finally ready to be filled into glass vials.
You will succeed in the tasks if you are precise and systematic in your work approach and you are not afraid of equipment or challenges / changing situations. We have English as a working language, so you must have a good command of oral and written English. Above all, however, we are looking for nice colleagues with a can-do attitude.
