This senior scientific role combines strategic leadership, experimental research, and cross-functional collaboration to advance promising targets from early discovery through preclinical development.
The successful candidate will lead target identification and prioritization efforts, working closely with bioinformatics, translational research, and genomics teams. Responsibilities include designing target discovery strategies, overseeing experimental validation, developing complex assays, analyzing multi-omics datasets, and establishing decision-making frameworks for advancing targets through the pipeline. The role also involves building collaborations with CROs, academic groups, and industry partners.
Candidates should hold a PhD in Molecular Biology, Cancer Genomics, Genetics, or a related field, with postdoctoral industry experience in oncology research, target discovery, or drug development. Strong expertise in cancer biology, genomics, bioinformatics, CRISPR-based functional genomics, and multi-omics analysis is required. Experience in pharmaceutical or biotechnology environments and small-molecule drug discovery is highly valued.
