Solu- ja kudosteknologian gradupaikka tarjolla Tampereella

7.2.2018 | Ajankohtaista

Tampereella BioMediTech-instituutissa Aikuisen kantasolujen tutkimusryhmässä on solu-ja kudosteknologian alan gradupaikka tarjolla opintojen loppumetreillä olevalle opiskelijalle. Aikuisen kantasolujen tutkimusryhmä tutkii muun muassa mesenkymaalisten kantasolujen käyttöä luun kudosteknologisissa sovelluksissa. http://www.biomeditech.fi/research/adult-stem-cell-group/

Kyseisessä graduprojektissa tutkitaan rasvan kantasolujen luuerilaistuksen taustalla olevia molekulaarisia mekanismeja geeni-ja proteiinitasolla. Projektissa kasvatetaan ja erilaistetaan kantasoluja ja selvitetään erilaistumiselle keskeisiä signalointireittejä. Näiden mekanismien ymmärtäminen on edellytys kudosteknologisten menetelmien kehitykselle tulevaisuudessa. Projekti koostuu 5-6 kk kestävästä kokeellisesta osuudesta ja 2-3kk kirjallisen raportin (Pro Gradu-tutkielma) laatimisesta (Pro Gradu tutkielman laajuutta, 40 op, vastaava työpanos).

Työn aloitusaika on joustava. Gradun ohjaajina toimivat tohtoriopiskelija Laura Hyväri ja tutkijatohtori Sari Vanhatupa. Työn alussa saat perusteellisen ohjauksen soluviljelyyn ja tarvittaviin analyysimenetelmiin sekä ohjausta ja tukea kirjallisen osion tekemiseen. Työskentely on pääosin itsenäistä, joten tarvitset myös itsenäistä otetta tutkimuksen toteutukseen.
