Open position for a Postdoctoral Researcher in Molecular and Cellular Neuroscience (Oulu University)
13.6.2018There is an open position for a postdoctoral scientist in the research project of docent Reetta Hinttala (http://www.oulu.fi/university/researcher/reetta-hinttala).
The discovery of a fatal neurodegenerative disease in childhood with fibrosis, and cerebral angiomatosis (FINCA disease) has highlighted the importance of NHLRC2 in the central nervous system (Uusimaa et al. 2018) (doi: 10.1007/s00401-018-1817-z). We are now looking for a postdoctoral scientist to focus on characterizing the role of NHLRC2 during neurogenesis in a two-year project funded by the Academy of Finland.
