Senior Scientist Formulation Analytics
Located in Rajamäki, Finland
The role
In strongly growing organization we are looking for a dedicated enzyme product analytics expert, a team player to strengthen our formulation team in R&D department. In order to be successful in this new role you have multi-year experience in physical and chemical analytics of protein based products and analytic method development in the field. The primary tasks of this role are:
- Executing and coordinating analytics required for liquid and dry enzyme product formulation development and in characterizing of such products
- Giving active contribution as a representative of formulation team in product specification relevant enzyme activity assay development
- Working with cross-functional project teams and key internal stakeholders in projects targeting to new molecules, new processes or new formulations
- Taking part in analytics harmonizing between different laboratories
- Proactive problem solving in analytics and sample handlings
- Taking care of good laboratory and safety practices
- Scouting and implementing of new analytic technologies
By showing your passion and commitment in this role there will be the whole group of R&D colleagues feeding work for your success. You work closely with colleagues in and outside R&D. Your cooperation with quality control enables smooth analytics handover when processes are transferred from R&D to manufacturing. You give your contribution in product specification process. You bring your insight for future analytical technology investments.
About You
You ideally have a Master’s degree or Ph.D. in biotechnology, biochemistry or other natural science studies, and 3+ years work experience in a related role. You have fluent written and verbal communication skills in English. You are eager and ambitious to take responsibility broadly in product specification related analytics and analytic method development in R&D. You understand importance of your contribution in launching of new products in the company. You have proven your skills in analytics implementation and troubleshooting.
