About The Role

As a Manager of the Protein Technologies Team you will lead an R&D group consisting of nine employees who are responsible for development of polyclonal antibodies, monoclonal antibodies, and antigens. You report to the CSO and is part of the R&D department management group.

This Position Includes The Following Responsibilities

  • Manage daily operations within the group
  • People management and coaching
  • Budget responsibility
  • Create and execute R&D plans
  • Decision maker and leader within R&D
  • Develop and improve processes, products and technologies
  • Act as process/object/system and resource owner
  • Strategic work by identify, evaluate and develop new opportunities
  • Product care and life cycle management

About You

We are now looking for a new role model to make our protein technologies team shine and perform at their best. To succeed in the role, we believe that you have experience from a similar role and are confident in your leadership skills.

You are used to work within a regulated business and work according to present regulations, policies, SOPs and in line with Atlas Antibodies values and code of conduct. You keep yourself updated regarding methods, technical tools to ensure having the right information in order to perform in your day-to-day work. You are keen of the working relationships and are actively contributing to a positive working environment.

But most importantly you are eager to build a team based on self-leadership and find your way to contribute to our growth and development as a production site.

Qualifications

  • Licentiate or PhD in biomedicine, biotechnology or equivalent to
  • Previous experience as manager or leader within Life Science industry
  • Meritorious with experience in personnel responsibility
  • Meritorious with experience in methods used in protein analysis such as immunohistochemistry, multiplexing and western blot
  • Meritorious with experience in antibody validation and assay development
  • Meritorious with experience in project management
  • Good language skills in Swedish and English, both oral and written
