Postdoc position on the intersection between opioid misuse and pain at WashU, USA

The Department of Anesthesiology and Washington University Pain Center seeks an Postdoctoral Research Fellow for an individual interested in examining the mechanisms underlying the intersection between opioid misuse and pain.
 
The laboratory integrates the study of the molecular and cellular changes induced by drugs of abuse and  pain using a combination of state-of-art behavioral, optogenetics, chemogenetics approaches in combination with electrophysiological analyses. Candidates must have a PhD in neuroscience, biochemistry, pharmacology or biomedical sciences. The successful candidate should be able to work independently and be willing to collaborate with the groups within the Pain Center at the Department of Anesthesiology.
