The Laboratory Technician for Radiometer works as part of a project team, developing new immunoassay products.
This position is part of the Radiometer Turku Oy located in Turku, Finland and the position will be on-site. The position is temporary, and the estimated duration of the temporary contract is until December 2025. You will be a part of the Assay Development AURA team and report to the Senior Manager, Assay Development AURA. Laboratory Technician will be responsible for planning, performing, and reporting laboratory tests and maintaining the laboratory equipment and environment.

We are seeking a highly motivated computational biologist to join the research group of Dr Teemu Niiranen (Department of Clinical Medicine) as a Postdoctoral Researcher. We work on a wide range of topics with a current focus on multi-omics analysis in large-scale population cohorts. The research mainly comprises applied research on the associations between the gut microbiome and cardiometabolic disease in large population cohorts.
The duties of Postdoctoral Researcher include the analysis of population-level omics data (metagenomics, genomics, metabolomics etc.) aiming at groundbreaking biological discoveries. The key data sources include comprehensively phenotyped international human cohorts of up to tens of thousands of participants whose fecal samples have been analyzed in leading laboratories using state-of-the-art mass high-throughput (metagenomic) sequencing. Different project areas related to multi-omics data integration, analysis of longitudinal cohort data, and the discovery of personalized disease biomarkers are available.
Salary The salary is determined in accordance with the university salary system for research and teaching staff. The salary is on levels 4-6 on the job demands chart. Depending on your previous experience and competence, the salary is approximately 3156,20-4261,79 euros per month in the beginning of employment. Analytical technician tehtävässä vastaat laboratorion tehtävistä kuten esimerkiksi steriiliystestaamisesta ja ympäristökontrollinäytteiden otosta ja analysoinnista. Steriiliystestaaminen tehdään suodattamalla ja suorasiirrostamalla esimerkiksi lääkeaineesta ja solupankeista. Työskentely tapahtuu aseptisesti puhdastiloissa.
Tulet työskentelemään myös muissa mikrobiologisen laadunvalvontalaboratorion tehtävissä. Työtehtäviisi voi kuulua esimerkiksi
