Analytical technician tehtävässä vastaat laboratorion tehtävistä kuten esimerkiksi steriiliystestaamisesta ja ympäristökontrollinäytteiden otosta ja analysoinnista. Steriiliystestaaminen tehdään suodattamalla ja suorasiirrostamalla esimerkiksi lääkeaineesta ja solupankeista. Työskentely tapahtuu aseptisesti puhdastiloissa.
Tulet työskentelemään myös muissa mikrobiologisen laadunvalvontalaboratorion tehtävissä. Työtehtäviisi voi kuulua esimerkiksi
– Kokonaismikrobimääritys suodattamalla ja maljavalumenetelmällä – Ympäristökontrollinäytteiden otto – Mikrobimaljojen tulosten lukeminen kasvatuksen jälkeen – Endotoksiinien analysointi – pH-, johtokyky- ja osmolaalisuus- mittaus
Päätyötehtäviisi kuuluu – Steriiliystestien tekeminen – Muita mikrobiologisen laadunvalvontalaboratorion tehtäviä – Tuloksien kirjaaminen, poikkeavista tuloksista eteenpäin ilmoittaminen ja poikkeamaselvityksiin osallistuminen – Tuloksien trendidatan kerääminen ja raportointi – Työohjeiden laatiminen ja päivittäminen

Odotamme sinulta ammatillista loppututkintoa (esim. laborantti, bioanalyytikko, farmaseutti tai vastaava). Tehtävässä onnistuminen vaatii sinulta erityistä tarkkuutta työskentelyssäsi. Olet siis työskentelytyyliltäsi tarkka, järjestelmällinen, reipas ja toimelias henkilö. Sinulla on myös hyvät vuorovaikutus- ja ryhmätyötaidot. Työ on osittain fyysisesti vaativaa, joten työ edellyttää hyvää fyysistä kuntoa. Puhdastilatyöskentely edellyttää fyysistä notkeutta ja valmiutta aikaisiin aamuihin. Sinulla on hyvä suomen kielen taito. Työohjeet ja dokumentointi tehdään osittain englanniksi, joten toivomme sinulta myös englannin kielen taitoa.

Qualifications:

Knowledge of the healthcare, oncology or pharmaceutical industry is preferred.

Helsingin Biomedicum keräsi hienon määrän osallistujia, kun Suomen Solubiologit ry ja Suomen Sidekudostutkijat jo toista kertaa järjestivät yhteisen seminaarin. Kiitos kaikille perjantain 31.3. yhteisseminaariin osallistujille, päivä oli todella mielenkiintoinen ja herätti erinomaisia keskusteluja. Seminaarin lomassa Suomen Solubiologit ry piti vuosikokouksen, jossa valittiin uusi hallitus vuodelle 2023: Johanna Matilainen (puheenjohtaja), Anna Aalto (varapuheenjohtaja), Kai Härkönen (talousvastaava), Kirsi Kainulainen (sihteeri) sekä neljä hallituksen jäsentä, Linda Kauppinen, Elina Siljamäki, Kari Salokas, Onni Sirkiä sekä Emmi Virtanen.
This was the second joint meeting of the Finnish Matrix and Cell Biology societies. What a great amount of people gathered in Biomedicum, Helsinki on Friday 31.3. Thank you for all participants. During the day Finnish Society for Cell Biology selected its new board for 2023: Johanna Matilainen (chairman), Anna Aalto (vice-chairman), Kai Härkönen (treasurer), Kirsi Kainulainen (secretary) and four member of the board, Linda Kauppinen, Elina Siljamäki, Kari Salokas, Onni Sirkiä and Emmi Virtanen.
The 49th Annual Meeting and Summer School of the Scandinavian Society for Immunology – SSI2023 will be held on June 4th–7th. Registration for the meeting is now open.
The organisers promise an exciting program from basic immunology to translational studies and latest advances in clinical use. The Summer School focuses on single-cell and other cutting-edge approaches in immunology. Meeting sessions will cover novel approaches in immune regulation and immunotherapies by world-known invited speakers such as Anjana Rao from La Jolla Institute of Immunology, JeffreyBluestone from Sonoma Biotherapeutics and Andrew Chan from Genentech as well as presentations by young investigators in the workshops and poster sessions.
Join also the traditional SSI meeting dinner at Turku Castle.
